Welcome to Year 5! This class is taught by Mr Anderson and supported by Mrs Peper.
WOW- What a year we are going to have!
In English we will be transported to different regions of the world! First we will be learning about the northern regions of the Arctic, having adventures with Polar Bears! Then we will be transported down the rabbit hole to a world of mystery and craziness! Finally we will be transported back in time to the discovery of Tutunkhamun, lifting curses and learning about an ancient culture.
In Science we are going to travel out of this world, learning about Space and the planets! Also we are going to be learning about the industries closer to us, visiting companies and seeing Science used in real life!
Do you imagine living life in glorious sunshine, wearing togas and sailing across the Aegean? Well in History we will be travelling back to the ancient times and learning about how Greece shaped the world.
