Walliams Class – Year 4

Welcome to Walliams Class. This class is taught by Mr Friggieri.

Year 4 – WOW! What a great year we have coming up!

In Literacy, we will be looking at descriptive writing.  We will be learning all about grammatical and writing features used in producing some great, amazing, fantastic, top-draw, out-of-this-world descriptions of both characters and settings.  

In science, we will be having a whale of a time as we look at living things and their habitats – what a hoot! 

In history we will be traveling back  in time as we take a cruise along the River Nile to find out all about the Ancient Egyptians and thier civilisation.  We will be learning about the Pharaohs, pyramids and the Egyptian way of life…oh mummy!

In geography, we will be checking out Europe, finding out about our nearest neighbours and some countries a little further afield.  We will be using traditional maps to locate and name continents, oceans and other landmarks as well as comparing and contrasting the cities of London and Paris… ooh la la!
