Seuss Class – Year 2

Welcome to Year 2!

This class is taught by Miss Harris.

Year 2 is named Suess Class after the famous author Dr. Suess. Around the classroom, there are displays and characters linked to some of his most famous books, and there are plenty of his books to read in our book corner.

During the school day, children will have daily lessons of Maths, English, Reading, Phonics and SPAG. Then throughout the week, they will also have Science, History or Geography, Health Education or RE, Art and Design or Design Technology, Music, PE and Computing. Each half term, the children will link their learning to a topic. This year our topics will be:
